“Infill” is the internal structure that is inside a 3d print object. It designated by using percentage and pattern for the element as follow in influence of print weight, material usage, strength, and print time.
For infill percentage it will be measure by 0% – 100%, the higher the percentage, the print weight, material usage & strength will increase but the longer the print time will be.
Refer to Simplify 3D slicer software their infill pattern as follow: – Rectilinear, Grid, Triangular, Wiggle, Fast Honeycomb, & Full Honeycomb.
With different kind of infill pattern, the internal strength of the object will be different.
For example, if we are looking for some flexibility we will go for wiggle, if we need to have the better strength we will go for full honeycomb.
